- 1). Purchase a package of puppy pads and a bottle of potty training spray at the local pet store.
- 2). Place a couple of puppy pads throughout the house or in the rooms/areas where the puppy will be restricted to staying. Keep the puppy pads in the same locations every day.
- 3). Watch the Yorkie for any signs that it may need to relieve itself such as sniffing in one spot and circling. Pick up the Yorkie and place it on the puppy pad.
- 4). Spray the puppy pad with potty training spray to encourage the Yorkie to eliminate on the puppy pad.
- 5). Praise and reward the Yorkie for going on the puppy pad.
- 6). Change out used puppy pads regularly so that there will always be a clean puppy pad available for the Yorkie to use.
