How to Teach My Dog to Heel - Do it the Simple and Easy Way!

I used to wonder how to teach my dog to heel.
I don't have that problem now.
Just so you know it is not to difficult to understand.
In fact I think it's really easy once you've already mastered the come command.
Once that's accomplished, it was easy for me to know how to teach my dog to heel.
I would begin with placing with the leash on the doggy.
I would start enforcing the command if only needed.
I did this by using a treat to lure him in.
I make sure that I do not pull him.
The leash is only used to keep him from going in the other direction and that's all.
I just simply want him by my side when learning how to teach my dog to heel.
In order to engage in more of a formal type of obedience training, I learn how to teach my dog to heel by having him walk by my left side and I always keep his treat in my left hand as well.
This way he really believes that by staying close, he's likely to get his reward.
Bend over if you have to for a smaller dog when rewarding him with a treat, this is important to remember because this avoids him from getting into the habit of jumping up.
In order to learn how to teach my dog to heel, I would frequently treat him when he's in the correct heel position.
If your inside, walk clockwise as your learning.
When saying the heel command, make sure to do it in a friendly manor.
I don't scold him for going the wrong way, I just don't respond to it.
I stay still or move in a different way.
He'll understand that his reward comes by standing next to you as I first started to learn how to teach my dog to heel.
